Award-winning filmmaker Gary Sinyor makes his playwriting debut at London’s Arts Theatre with the world premiere of the wildly irreverent comedy play NotMoses.
NotMoses is the crying baby plucked from his basket by a Princess of Ancient Egypt – only to be dumped back in the Nile when she spots a nicer baby, Moses.
Growing up in the shadow of his rival, NotMoses becomes a disgruntled slave while Moses enjoys a successful life in the aristocracy, but the two men are soon required to work together when forced to flee into the Sinai desert and ordered by God himself to lead the Jews.
Sinyor also directs the production that answers numerous eternal questions in his hilarious new play, running for a strictly limited 10-week season.
