Northern Ballet continues its tradition of bringing together the dramatic and the classical with a new production by David Nixon, Cleopatra.

An enduring icon of the ancient world, Cleopatra was a mother, lover and queen who overturned convention and changed the course of history.

Cleopatra is danced to a score by Claude-Michel Schonberg, the composer of Miss Saigon and Les Miserables, which is played live by the Northern Ballet Sinfonia.
