Michael Frayn’s multi-award winning Noises Off is a comic romp that offers the audience two plays for the price of one!
Whilst the traditional British comedy Nothing On is being performed, a real life charade unfolds backstage during the show’s final rehearsal and the ensuing disastrous tour. Watch as the actors make their exits from one play, only to find themselves making entrances into the other – and back again!
Noises Off stars Maggie Steed from Jam & Jerusalem, Colin Baker who played the sixth Dr Who, Jonathon Coy and Ben Hull, who is best known for his long-running role in the Channel 4 soap Hollyoaks.
Michael Frayn’s recent and acclaimed West End plays include Democracy, Copenhagen and Donkeys’ Years. The world premiere of his new play Afterlife opened at the National Theatre this summer.
