Based on the children’s novel by Monty Python star Terry Jones, Nicobobinus is a fantasy adventure story about a boy who could do anything. Well, could he?
Accompanied by his best friend Rosie, their friendship, humanity and overall brilliantness is put to the test as they go on an unprecedented adventure to find the Land of Dragons. Fairy story, adventure, magic, mystery, morality and humour are combined with effortless skill to produce a unique and unusual modern fairy tale.
In a new stage adaptation by John Ward, Nicobobinus is brought to life with live music, original songs, acrobatics and plenty of laughter. This production has been developed with Rose Bruford Drama Schools’ unique actor-musician programme and is being performed as part of a term-long ‘Theatre for Young Audiences season’ specifically for primary school audiences.
