The Olivier theatre hosts some of the plays in this year’s New Connections festival.
New Connections is an annual initiative in which the National Theatre commissions several writers to write new plays for and about young people. The plays are performed by school and youth groups up and down the UK before one group for each play is selected to perform their production at the National Theatre.
This year’s plays feature tales of attraction, rejection, loyalty, loss, magic, mischief and the familiar ups and downs of first friendships. For more details on individual shows please visit www.nt-online.org
