Part rock concert, part feast for the eyes, part cabaret spectacular, Mozart Undone gives the famous composer’s work a distinctly theatrical make over.
Following similar feats achieved with the music of Bob Dylan, The Beatles and The Beach Boys, Danish director Nikolaj Cederholm turned his attention to one of the world’s most popular composers, creating a production that has a cult following in his native Denmark.
Mozart’s familiar tunes are transformed into rock, pop and jazz anthems, while performers cavort amid mud and water, shifting from prim and upright to 18th century decadence.
The production is performed in English.
