Sir John Mortimer – barrister, playwright, Rumpole creator, film scripter, raconteur and President of the Royal Court – appears on his own stage for one night only with a collection of stories, poetry, music and anecdotes from the legal word. There also promises to be a little Byron, Auden and Hardy thrown in for good measure, along with reports of bizarre murders.

Sir John will be joined by a few distinguished colleagues in this event, which blends the serious with the sexy, the sad and the funny.

All proceeds from the event will go to the theatre.
