In a normal town, a canal floods sending debris everywhere. A religious statue bursts through the floor of 12-year-old Veronica’s bedroom. Along with best friend Zelda, Veronica uses her new found skills to aid their community. The town’s young people tell the story of a population waiting for something magical to come into their lives.
