To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the publication of Martina Cole’s first novel Dangerous Lady, Theatre Royal Stratford East presents a stage adaptation that captures all the drama of the novel.

Following on from the success of Stratford East’s adaptations of Two Women and The Graft, Dangerous Lady will be their third adaptation of a Martina Cole novel.

Dangerous Lady follows seventeen year old Maura, for whom life in London’s underwold is just part of being a Ryan. Although at first she doesn’t approve of her brother’s escalating criminal ambitions, Maura soon finds herself drawn to the family business – and ready to make her mark.
