The cast of Love’s Labour’s Lost will include Peter Bowles, one of Britains’ most popular leading actors, in the role of Don Armado.
After the success of Uncle Vanya at the Rose earlier this year, Peter Hall, (the theatre’s Director Emeritus) returns to direct Shakespeare’s early comedy Love’s Labour’s Lost. In a directing career spanning more than fifty years, his most recent productions include The Vortex, starring Felicity Kendal at the Apollo, and Pygmalion at the Old Vic.
Love’s Labours Lost is the Rose Theatre’s first home-grown production since the theatre opened in January 2008.
