Acclaimed Director Alexander Zeldin brings LOVE to the National Theatre, telling a devised story of three families thrown into temporary accommodation with strangers at Christmas.

In the run up to the festive season, three families – a middle-aged man and his elderly mum, a young family with a baby on the way, and a newly arrived woman from Sudan – are forced together when they are forced into cramped temporary housing.

With no personal space, the strangers are forced together, creating an intimate story of family love for our times. Written through a devising process with an ensemble of actors, LOVE furthers Zeldin’s unique, lauded approach to theatre.
