Loserville is a new British musical by Elliot Davis and Busted’s James Bourne about a group of friends, computer geek Michael Dork and his misfit friends Lucas, Marvin and Francis. It’s 1971 and they’re about to change the world. It’s just that no-one knows it yet.
When new girl Holly arrives in town, all of Michael’s dreams seem to be coming true – at last a girl with looks and brains that actually notices him. But when rich kid Eddie discovers Holly’s dark secret, he turns his back on girlfriend Leia, and sets out to ruin Michael’s future dreams.
Loserville stars Aaron Sidwell as Michael, Eliza Hope Bennett as Holly, Stewart Clarke as Eddie, Charlotte Harwood as Leia, Richard Lowe as Lucas, Lil’ Chris as Francis and Daniel Buckley as Marvin.
As well as Loserville, Elliot Davis and James Bourne have also written the musical Out There. Elliot also co-wrote Soho Cinders with George Stiles and Anthony Drewe, and his other musicals, Best Friends and Butterflies and Once Upon a Time at the Adelphi, won the Ticketmaster Composer Award for Best Musical for Young People and the TMA Award for Outstanding Musical respectively.
Musician and songwriter James Bourne has written four number one hit songs, had numerous top three singles, and, as a founder-member of pop-rock bands Busted and Son of Dork, played to sold out arenas across the UK.
