The focus of Live Screen is the link between movement in daily life and framed motion on film and features films by Gillian Wearing, David Hinton, Thierry de Mey, Ruth Meehan, John Spiteri, Vena Ramphal and Marjan Laaper, among others. Live Screen includes Court, by Angela Woodhouse and Caroline Broadhead in the Khan Studio and a ‘lecture demonstration’, Anarchic Dance, by Professor Liz Aggiss. The evening is rounded off by a rare screening of the Colour Of Pomegranates (1968) by Georgian director Sergei Paradjanov, a film which director Atom Egoyan has called "endlessly mysterious and inspiring".
