The first in a series of occasional and magnificent evenings taking place in the Lilian Baylis Theatre, as dance and visual art films mix in with live performance work.
This evening presents a line-up of inventive film shorts, a classic full-length feature, Frank Perry’s The Swimmer (1968), and all that happens
in-between. Eva Meyer-Keller (Germany) will perform live the European hit Death is Certain, along with Rajyashree Ramamurthi’s Avatar (UK), which uses live sound and animation. A one-off.
Live Screen also includes films by Francis Alÿs, Magali Charrier, Torbjorn Skarild, Dance Screen Winner 2005 Rachel Davies and an interactive installation by Nic Sandiland and Yael Flexer.
Ticket includes a glass of mulled wine.
