A lyrical and poignant study of the damage we inflict on those we love, La Musica tells the story of a couple, both on the verge of a new marriage, as they meet in a hotel lobby to finalise their divorce.
As they share sweet memories and dark revelations, the music of their conversation conjures the ghost of the passionate relationship they lost.
The production is directed by Jeff James with designs by Ultz and marks the first London revival of Marguerite Duras’ work for two decades.
Please note, this is a promenade performance. You may be asked to move during the show and you may be asked to stand for part of the show.
