Film-making and choreography combine in Kiss And Cry, a production that brings a miniature world to a big screen with the help of balletic hands.
A woman waits alone at a train station, remembering once forgotten loves. As she does so her memories play out on miniature set that provides a setting on which a pair of hands flirt, intertwine and dance. As they are captured on camera this sensual finger ballet is projected onto a panoramic screen.
Kiss And Cry plays at the Barbican as part of LIFT 2014 and is suitable for theatregoers aged eight and older.
