Nine-year-old Eva is one of nearly 10,000 children – mostly Jewish – sent from Germany to Britain prior to the outbreak of World War II. Having successfully buried all memories of her former life, it is only when, in later life, her daughter finds some old letters, that she is forced to face her past.
The 1992 Verity Bargate Award-winning play is revived by Shared Experience.
