Melvin, Jason’s son, has always wanted to be like his dad and go on adventures and save things. Up until now, he has not been very good at it. But when their kingdom is under threat and Melvin has inadvertently food-poisoned his Dad and all of their superhero friends, it is up to Melvin and his equally inept schoolmates to save the day. So the Argonuts journey to save their homes and to find themselves, meeting a giant having a bad hair day, clashing rocks and the latest pop sensations ‘the sirens’. Will he save the Day? Will good triumph over evil? Will he remember to put the cat out at night? Whatever happens, be prepared for mythrionics.

A show for all children aged 5 – 9 years

Performances of Virginia’s Wolf (for 0-5 years) at 9.30 am and 1.00 pm will alternate with J’s Son and The Argonuts (for 5-9 years) at 11.15am and 2.45pm – allowing families to see both shows on the same day with a break for refreshments in between. Chicken Shed has a fully licensed bar serving hot and cold food.
