The Jette Parker Young Artists once again make the main stage their own for their annual summer performance. All nine singers on the programme will be involved, as will the music staff and stage director. The performance will be staged, with the Orchestra of the Royal Opera House in the pit, and consist of excerpts from operas by Mozart, Donizetti, Tchaikovsky and Puccini, selected to give the Young Artists an opportunity to sing roles that they have covered during the Season. The Summer Performance provides audiences with the opportunity to see the opera stars of tomorrow at the beginning of their careers.
