Akram Khan’s iTMOi (in The Mind Of igor) returns to Sadler’s Wells following its premiere at the venue in 2013.

Khan’s first full-length ensemble piece since 2010’s Vertical Road, iTMOi is inspired by the work of composer Igor Stravinsky and premiered last spring as part of the Stravinsky centenary celebrations.

Exploring the human condition and the way in which Stravinsky transformed the classical music world, the production evokes emotions through patterns and their disruption, building an episodic drama around the ritual of sacrifice.
