After a lay-off of 25 years, in I Found My Horn, Jasper Rees seeks redemption via the 16 feet of treacherous brass tubing he never mastered in his youth. Resuming his old French horn, he sets himself an impossible task: to perform a Mozart concerto in front of a paying audience of horn fanatics.

“Don’t do it,” says his mentor. “It takes nerves of steel to play the French horn in public!” But for Rees, there is no choice. It is now or never.

I Found My Horn enjoyed critical success on its short tour in 2008, and now returns to London for a longer run.
