Foul facts, shameful stories and Horrible Histories return to London this summer, with The Best Of Barmy Britain celebrating the show’s fifth West End anniversary.
A hilarious helping of British history, a handful of favourite characters from the country’s past are reimagined on stage, granting audiences the opportunity to beat battling Boudica, groovy with party Queen Victoria, and attempt to keep their heads around an amorous Henry VIII.
Combining all the best bits from previous shows in their Barmy Britain series, Horrible Histories stage creator Neal Foster stars alongside regular company member Alison Fitzjohn in this brand new historical romp.
Showcasing British history – with all the nasty bits left in – and adapted from Terry Deary’s best-selling children’s books, this is the perfect production for audiences aged five to 105.
