Hell Yes I’m Tough Enough is a political satire by Fragen Theatre Company taking a tongue-in-cheek look at the turbulence that can be British Politics.
Ben Alderton’s comedy play, which focuses on the circumstances surrounding the 2015 election circuit, will star Ben Hood, Michael Edwards, Cassandra Hercules, Edward Halsted, Venice Van Someren, Mikhail Sen, Annie Tyson, James Bryant – and Alderton himself.
The two Bens will play opposing party leaders – Ben Hood (Rank, The Lowry) as Ned Contraband, and Ben Alderton (Secret Cinema: 28 Days Later, Empire Strikes Back) as David Carter. The show sees them ruthlessly battling it out to get into government, slinging propaganda, ridicule and blackmail at one another along the way to farcical effect.
Which party has the best pitch? Who do we set up for failure? Why are we in this situation in the first place? And who is this peculiar janitor talking in riddles? One thing is clear: the system is very much broken. But who’s going to fix it?
Hell Yes I’m Tough Enough is a relentless, fast-paced, hysterical, crude, offensive, passionate, visceral and oh so English comedy that will leave you wanting to grab a placard and take to the streets! Tickets are now available to book via Official London Theatre.
