For Robert, rapidly approaching twenty-five, being in a porn film is something that’s always appealed, it’s something to be ticked off ‘the wish list’ before you are thirty. To Kevin however, a committed but struggling actor, well, it’s just work – a way of showing his dramatic versatility. Martin, new to London, sees it as a bit of a laugh with a shag thrown in. It’s left to Craig, a veteran of two previous films and recipient of a ‘Stiffy’ for Most Promising Newcomer, to put them right. He has to dispel their illusions about the raunch and the glamour to prepare the boys for the huge gulf between the watching of and the making of porn.
