Hair, one of the epoch-making musicals of the 1960s, has been updated for a 21st Century audience. Set “at the dawning of The Age Of Aquarius”, Hair tells the story of a young man who is on his way to enlist as a solider in the Vietnam war when he is distracted and then seduced by Flower Children. The musical famously caused a bit of a rumpus when it was originally performed, as it featured a scene where a flock of naked hippies cavorted naked on the stage.
