A live film with bad coffee, nervous breakdowns, wild parties and modern hairstyles. In a playful recreation of Andy Warhol’s film Kitchen, this entirely improvised and highly entertaining theatre event encapsulates the hedonistic experimental energy of the swinging sixties.
Using the language of film, TV and pop music to explore the complexities and absurdities of life today, Gob Squad’s work is a search for beauty, meaning and humanity amongst the glittering facades and dark corners of contemporary culture.
Gob Squad is a group of UK and German artists, working collectively with performance, theatre, installation and video since 1994.
