For The Best is a unique promenade performance through the corridors of the Unicorn which explores the experiences of children on dialysis.

Oscillating between images of home and hospital, a team of six actors and three children take us on a startling journey of performance and installation that allows us to look afresh at the world we expect. 

For The Best is the culmination of nine months of work with the children from the Dialysis Unit of the Evelina Children’s Hospital School, their parents, primary school children. artists and performers. 

For The Best is created by Mark Storar and Anna Ledgard, who cross the boundaries of art and science and turn the Unicorn theatre inside out and upside down. 

Suitable for adults and children aged 6+
