The Courtyard Theatre proudly plays host to two brand new plays that will leave you wondering whether the clocks went forwards or backwards this spring. Written, directed and performed by an up-and-coming collection of East London’s thirstiest thespians we showcase the following double bill:
A Play
Written by Alisa Nirman.
A comedy about making theatre and the creative process. After a performance, actors find themselves stuck on stage. In their attempt to make sense of the situation, with the help from theatrical stereotypes they encounter on the way, they seem to be creating more walls than breaking them. If theatre reflects life, then surely it should have no plot, and perhaps, even no meaning.
