Ex is a new musical of twisted love lives and unfinished business.

Two former lovers meet in a bar. They are an unlikely couple: Ruby is funny and gawkily attractive, Jack is scruffy and cocky. When they were together, she let him walk all over her and he regularly cheated. Ruby went to South America to escape Jack when she’d had enough of being put down. Now, the formerly downtrodden Ruby looks great and is full of confidence. She has a new lover, Keith, and is about to emigrate to America with him. But she did love Jack, and has arranged to see him one last time to make sure she’s doing the right thing.
