The tragic love story of a rich governor’s son and the daughter of a courtesan, originally created as a Korean folk opera using only a singer and a drummer, is told through dance. In this production Chunhyang is presented as an aggressive modern woman.

Eun Me Ahn Company was formed in 1994. Taking a different approach to many, Eun Me Ahn, who began training in Korean dance at the age of 12, designs the show’s costumes before starting the choreography.
