Psychiatrist Martin Dysart tries to solve the problem of why a normal 17-year-old with a routine life and a loving family would suddenly blind six horses with a hoof pick. What drove Alan Strang to such an act of violence?
Dysart is played by West End veteran Richard Griffiths who won the Laurence Olivier Award for Best Actor in 2005 for his performance in The History Boys. Alan Strang is played by Daniel Radcliffe, who is best known for playing the wizard student Harry Potter in all of the Harry Potter films.
