After the death of his father, a son inherits a piece of family land in the Anatolian Steppes, which has been passed down for many generations. Finding himself torn between his familiar life in Amsterdam and his mother’s wish for him to return with her to Turkey he struggles to accept his ancestral responsibilities.
When an unknown woman turns up at his doorstep, his father’s legacy turns out to be much bigger than he could have ever imagined.
