Eden End centres on Stella Kirby, who has spent nine years running away, leaving home to find her freedom as a celebrated actress. Now she has decided that the only role left to play is the prodigal daughter returned, hoping to discover herself in the warmth of ordinary life and the familiar surroundings of her childhood home.
Set in 1912, Eden End exposes the cracks in the lives of a respectable Edwardian family.
Playwright JB Priestley also wrote the celebrated plays An Inspector Calls and When We Are Married.
Eden End is directed by Laurie Sansom, whose productions of Spring Storm and Beyond The Horizon were a hit at the National Theatre.
