Drama At Inish, written in 1933, tells the tale of a touring theatre company who aim to raise the intellectual level of the usual touring plays. But their performances of Chekhov, Strindberg and Ibsen have some unexpected and devasting consequences for the inhabitants of one remote Irish village.
Drama At Inish is part of the Finborough Theatre’s rediscovery season and runs alongside St John Ervine’s Mixed Marriage. It’s directed by Fidelis Morgan and stars the Olivier award-winning Celia Imrie.
