Wood’s many hugely popular stage adaptations include Roald Dahl’s The BFG, Fantastic Mr Fox and James And The Giant Peach, as well as Judith Kerr’s The Tiger Who Came To Tea, Dick King-Smith’s Babe, The Sheep-Pig and the Olivier Award-winning Goodnight Mister Tom.

The Gingerbread Man started life as a play in 1976 and has since been seen worldwide and in the West End.
