Kevin Spacey reprises his critically acclaimed performance in David W Rintels’ one-man show Clarence Darrow at the Old Vic.

Marking the actor’s final appearance as Artistic Director of the venue, Thea Sharrock’s production follows the story of pioneering lawyer Darrow as he relives some of his pivotal experiences and trials that established his reputation as a courtroom giant and civil rights hero.

The Academy Award-winning actor returns to the role following the play’s sell-out run in 2014. Prior to that performance, Spacey had appeared in productions including Richard III, Speed-The-Plow, The Philadelphia Story and A Moon For The Misbegotten at the Old Vic.

While the actor has earned accolades for his stage work, including the 1999 Best Actor Olivier Award for his performance in The Iceman Cometh, Spacey’s screen credits include political drama series House Of Cards and films including The Usual Suspects and American Beauty, both of which saw him take home Academy Awards.
