The Olivier Award nominated show brings its original take on the much-loved fairytale to the Unicorn theatre for the first time.

Combining quirky visual style, crystal-clear storytelling and original live music, Cinderella: A Fairytale tells the story of Ella who, following her mother’s death, is brought up her devoted and loving father, teaching her all about the woodland birds surrounding their home.

But when her father marries a second wife, Ella’s peaceful life is thrown into turmoil by a host of new and unpleasant relations and it soon becomes apparent that her only allies are the feathered creatures who roost in the trees above. But these aren’t ordinary birds.

This classic tale of reversed fortunes is brought imaginatively to life by director Sally Cookson in a production suitable for children aged six and older.
