Marley was dead… to begin with. Then, instead of remaining quiet, he decided to haunt his old business partner, the miserly money-lender Ebenezer Scrooge. And all to help old Ebenezer to see the error of his ways.
Patrick Stewart plays all the characters in this one-man adaptation of Dickens's Christmas classic, which won the Laurence Olivier Award for Best Entertainment last time it was staged in London. Stewart is one of Britain's most respected stage actors, having worked extensively across the West End, with the National theatre and with the RSC. He may be best known, however, as Captain Jean-Luc Picard from TV sci-fi hit Star Trek: The Next Generation.
