Spanish heat and passion is at the centre of Bizet’s powerful and much-loved opera.

Soldier Don José falls in love with the gypsy Carmen, shunning the advances of the innocent Micaëla. Carmen, however, is not the truest of characters and a love for her can only end in tragedy.

Francesca Zambello directs this new production which features lavish staging and two impressive casts.
