Mike Bartlett’s razor-sharp play about the fine line between office politics and playground bullying receives its London premiere at the Young Vic.
Written as a companion piece to Bartlett’s Olivier Award-winning Royal Court hit Cock, Bull offers ringside seats as three employees fight to keep their jobs.
During the show, the audience is offered the chance to cheer and boo the opponents as cruel one-upmanship and playground tactics transform the office into a bullfighting ring.
Directed by Clare Lizzimore with designs by Soutra Gilmour, the production was first seen at the Crucible Theatre in 2013 before transferring for a run Off-Broadway.
