British Youth Opera takes on Benjamin Britten’s Paul Bunyan for its annual production in association with Southbank Sinfonia.
A cast of 44 singers will take on Britten’s operetta, which has a musical style that is said to pre-empt the work of Leonard Bernstein and Stephen Sondheim, to tell the story of how America was founded by a motley group of pioneers.
