Olivier Award winner Harriet Walter and her husband Guy Paul make their first ever London stage appearance together as they take to the stage in Clara Brennan’s two-hander Boa.

An acerbic, warm and honest account of a lifetime in love, Boa tells the tender and powerful story of Louis, Belinda and their 30 years of overwhelming affection, wine, words and dance.

One of Britain’s best-loved stage actors, Walter recently starred in Phyllida Lloyd’s all-female Henry IV, which followed the director’s success with 2013’s Julius Caesar in which Walter also starred. The actress’ other numerous stage credits include Women Beware Women at the National Theatre and extensive credits at the Royal Shakespeare Company, while on screen she has appeared in films including Sense And Sensibility, The Young Victoria and Atonement.

Walter reunites with Paul on stage following their performance together in Broadway’s Mary Stuart, where the couple met for the first time. The American actor is a well-known presence on Broadway, having appeared in productions of Twelve Angry Men, King Lear and The King And I, while the actor’s film credits include Hyde Park On Hudson, George Washington II: The Forging Of A Nation and The Fifth Estate.

Boa is directed by Hannah Price, co-Artistic Director and founder of Theatre Uncut, whose credits include TU 2013: The Rise Of The Right at the Young Vic.
