Following hot on the heels of Haunted Child, Joe Penhall’s latest play Birthday premieres at the Royal Court.

Joe Penhall has worked extensively in both theatre and film. His hugely celebrated play Blue/Orange transferred to the West End and won Olivier, Evening Standard and Critics’ Circle Awards. He recently adapted Cormac McCarthy’s The Road for film and wrote the screenplay for Enduring Love.
