Following its record breaking stint in the West End last summer, Simon Callow returns to Trafalgar Studios 1 with his critically acclaimed one man show, Being Shakespeare.

Written by Jonathan Bate, the pre-eminent Shakespeare biographer, Being Shakespeare brings to life the bard’s unforgettable characters as well as the real man behind the legend.

Simon Callow is not only one of Britain’s best loved actors, with highly acclaimed performances on both stage and screen, but is also a highly regarded, prize winning biographer. Under the direction of Tom Cairns, Simon Callow brings these two passions together in Being Shakespeare.

The production will run for 30 performances only before touring to New York and Chicago.
