Simon Callow brings his solo show Being Shakespeare to London’s West End.
Written by Shakespeare biographer and editor of the Royal Shakespeare Company’s Shakespeare: The Complete Works, Jonathan Bateman, Being Shakespeare brings to life the bard’s unforgettable characters and the real man behind the legend.
Callow, who is directed in Being Shakespeare by Tom Cairns, may be best known for his film roles in movies such as Amadeus and Four Weddings And A Funeral, but also has a long and illustrious stage career to his name, most recently appearing in the National Theatre’s production of Twelfth Night.
