The beauty of 21st century Africa is celebrated in this spectacle of dance, text and film.
Choreographed by Olivier Award winner Robyn Orlin, the production promises haggling, gargling, chanting and inventiveness, not least in the costumes made from recycled materials including laundry bags and sweet wrappers, inspired by the customs of the Surma and Mursi tribes.
Beauty Remained For Just A Moment Then Returned Gently To Her Starting Position plays as part of Dance Umbrella 2013 and is suitable for theatergoers aged 14 and older.
