Now on their 47th year the world-famous Bayanihan, the national dance company of the Philippines, return to London with several new works.

Their programme this year is Transcending Borders. Dance suites such as Earth Rhythms, Traditions Renewed, Birds of Bright Plumage, Recuerdos de Intramuros, Mindanao Mosaic, and People Under the Sun, all showcase the spectacular diversity of the Philippines, incorporating the rich tapestry of this tropical country’s indigenous-animist, European-Christian, and Asian-Islamic cultural overlays.
