Best known for her role as Sybil in Fawlty Towers, the much-loved British actress Prunella Scales takes to the artsdepot to explore the lives of English eccentrics, both real and fictional.

In this light hearted performance, Scales examines the world of eccentrics through readings drawn from prose, poetry, biographies and diaries: interspersed with limericks, anecdotes and quotations.  

Scale will be accompanied by actor Clive Conway on flute and Christine Croshaw on piano, as she introduces the audience to a wealth of colourful and remarkable English characters who have enlivened and entertained us through the ages.
