Gillian Anderson leads the cast of the Young Vic’s highly anticipated production of A Streetcar Named Desire.

The Great Expectations actress will take on the iconic role of Blanche DuBois in Tennessee Williams’ classic tale about Blanche’s downward spiral as she collides with her brutal brother-in-law Stanley Kowalski.

Directed by Benedict Andrews, who was behind the Young Vic’s hugely successful  production of Three Sisters, Anderson is joined in the cast by Vanessa Kirby as her sister Stella and Ben Foster as Stanley.
