A Pacifist’s Guide To The War On Cancer features all the big anthems, shiny costumes, singing and dancing you would expect of a West End musical, but centres around the blood, tears and stories of real cancer patients in a rip-roaring, heart-breaking celebration of ordinary life and death.

Exploring the reality behind the poster campaigns and pink ribbons, including waiting rooms, chemo suites, changing bodies, family pressures and financial worries, this whistle-stop tour of five unconventional stories about cancer is bold and illuminating.

Kimmings’ previous critically acclaimed experimental works have seen her become a pop star involved by a 9 year old and spend 7 days in a controlled environment in a constant state of intoxication.
